Comments/Problems:
Problems with the supplied version of kernel for the i686, but using the i386 to
boot and then installing the most recent i686 version worked.
Problems with the linux-igd package that reports not being correctly installed
but the program works and installs ok - so it works but gives errors
Overall installation gave errors but the system is working.
