I wanted to say:
"if the pre-up line would be added only if ppp-udeb was responsible for raising the Ethernet
interface", but now I realised that this is not true, the interface should always be brought up
prior o PPPoE. Of course, the interface must be the same that was used during the install.
(I seem to sent incomplete messages from time to time :-D )
