Comments/Problems:

Everything fine except one detail: My router seems to have a problem with tcp window scaling since kernel 2.6.17. Therefor I need to disable tcp window scaling to access most sites. Since this was a net install I needed to do it before contacting a mirror. In text mode no problem: pressing Alt+F3 I could access a console and disable it. But in the graphical installer pressing Alt+F3 did nothing so I couldn't complete the installation in graphical mode.

Regards.

That sounds like a kernel issue, not an issue in the installer itself.

Could you check if the current 2.6.18 kernel in unstable also shows this
problem, and if it does, file a bug report against the package linux-2.6?

For the graphical installer you need to use ctrl-alt-F2 (or -F3) instead.

I'm closing this installation report as the installation itself went fine.
Thank you very much for submitting the report.
