It boots to cd and starts loading image then fails with a Kernel panic
It Ids the processor OK as Intel P3 (Coppermine) stepping 06
Enabling fast FPU save and restore... done
Enabling Unmasked SIMD FPU exception support... done
Checking 'hlt' instructions... OK
Checking for popad bug... OK
POSIX conformance testing by UNIFIT
kernel BUG at apic.c:307!
Invalid operand 0000
 
This is repeatable
