Yes, I remember that you said you wouldn't accept any changes to d-i
whatsoever.  I'm still going to submit the changes now in order to prove 
that Joey Hess's estimate of the time required is way way off.  If you 
aren't able to integrate them at this time, that's just fine: they go
high on your queue for post-etch.

Which general approach?  Making it possible to add supplemental udebs at
installer runtime?  I thought that was agreed to be the right thing to do.  
Or reusing existing code rather than duplicating it?  Likewise.
