Comments/Problems:
Linux etch did not detect my CD/DVD ROM. And I am unable to continue the
installation. I tried with SID but first it detected my cdrom but did not
detect my hard drive after that I download another sid version and there I was
unable to configure the network so I couldn't be able to continue. I tried also
the stable version and I was not able to install with 2.6 kernel. When I install
stable with 2.4 kernel and try to moove to 2.6 I have the following error:
pivot_root: "No such file or directory
/sbin/init: 432 : cannot open dev/console : No such file"
I do some googling about the last problem and tried change hda to sda in
lilo.config and in fstab also but without success.
