Bug#345999: simple solution failed on my laptop
Hi, there;
I failed to install debian on my laptop
(Toshiba Tecra A3 with a DVD/CD-RW combo)
for several months and after reading the recent Howto
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/SataAtapiHowto
I decide to have another try.
I downloaded a debian testing cd by jigdo yesterday.
The information about that latest jigdo file:
$ ./jigdo-lite debian-testing-i386-binary-1.jigdo
Jigsaw Download "lite"

After burning this cd, I tried the command
"install libata.atapi_enabled=1" at the beginning of installation
and it failed again to find any CDROM. I will take another try
on a unstable cd this afternoon.
