Bug#362596: debian-installer: fails to detect cdrom

Tanks a lot for your advice.  The suggestion worked.  Now it didn't detect my video cardso I can't get X to start.  The manuel says it either came with an Intel Graphics Media accelerator 950 or ATI Mobility Radeon X1300.   What can I do so that it detects these cards?  If I have to put in parameters how do I know which ones to put in where?  Thanks again for all your help.  I sent my lspci info last time.

Is this a SATA cdrom drive? In that case see:

Please let us know if that helped.

Cheers,
