it may be possible to use the 32-bit installer to install the ppc64 port
as Sven Luther suggested. However, I would still prefer to build
kbd-chooser natively on ppc64. As you say, it does not hurt, and
it may turn out that it will be easier to use a full native installer
on ppc64.
