Bug#351992: Installation error

It seems that there are numerous reports about the CD not being
recognized anymor ewhen SATA is activated for the HD on these laptops.

Could you run "lsmod" from 2nd console at the moment the CD is not
recognized ?
If "sr_mod" does not show up, please try loading it manually with
"modprobe sr_mod".....and try again by going back to 1st console and
retry the CD detection step.
