Bug#351883: partitions on harddisk not recognized (detected) during install

So does it see the disk but no partitions or does it not see the disk at
all?

Why is the disk prepartitioned?

Which kernel does slackware use?

Well 2.6.8 is hardly new anymore.  It isn't too unusual for newer
hardware to cause trouble.

Does testing or unstable install using the daily builds of the
installer?
