Bug#334356: marked as done (discover1-data: List wrong XFree86 module for ATI Technologies Inc RV280)

has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

(NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I am
talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration

To make X work out of the box for installation on a PegasosII PowerPC, I
had to patch discover1-data to list Radeon for the ATI-card

Not sure if this also applies to other arch's

The Patched deb is availible from

Hello,

AFAIK, Xorg postinst does it for you so we don't need to support it on
database. Doing it, we'll dificult the backporting to sarge for
projects as Debian-EDU and Debian-BR-CDD.
