Is there any technical reason or simply a limitation of the
installer?

Anyway, I propose to change the message to something like

"After the Logical Volume Manager is configured, no additional changes to the "
"partitions in the disks containing physical volumes can be made during the "
"installation process. Please decide if you are satisfied with the current "
"partitioning scheme in these disks before continuing. Additional partitions "
"in the remaining free space can be created once the system is installed. "

Its a rather uncomfortable feeling being in the middle of the installation
process and not being sure if a decision will have far-reaching consequences ;-)

Thanks and best Regards,

	Andreas
