You probably need to add the new module(s) in kernel-wedge somewhere and 
rebuild and install that before building linux-kernel-di-i386-2.6.

Hmm. I just realize that the message may also mean that kernel-wedge 
expects the module to be available and it is not there because of your 
kernel configuration. In that case you should modify kernel-wedge or 
linux-kernel-di-i386-2.6 to not expect them.
