I talked to Promise and the card is supported by suse linux
I am trying to load the suse evaluation copy will let you know how that
stands Maybe we can boot off suse? Or I can wait till debian supports the
TM4300

I don't know then. I guess you can't use it until it gets support in
linux then.
Perhaps asking the libata developers if it is a card they know about and
are working on would give you a clue.
