Bug#340390: 2.6.12 kernel and disk detection

These are 100% the same kernel. The only difference could be that the 
installed system uses a new discover and is therefore able to load the 
driver automatically.

Anyway, our main concern is to see issues solved in the new version. As 
the new version works I suggest to not spend too much more time on this.
