Bug#333385: controller recognized with nightly build of the netinstaller

update to my bug-report:

as suggested by christian mack, I tried the installation again with a nightly build of the netinstaller-cd, taken from
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/

with this netinstaller, the scsi-controller of my ibm server x306 ("IBM ServeRAID 7e" aka "Adaptec AIC-7901") was successfully recognized!

what's strange now: I have configured a raid-1 on the controller so that the two identical disks should be appear as one for debian. but debian shows me both disks in the partitioning screen.

I guess that when I install debain on one of them, the raid isn't working?!?

any further ideas?
