Frans, could you please fix the d-i_dfb_fonts.tgz archive
in http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/gtk-frontend/ as suggested?

Thanks. Done.
With new iso only Hebrew is still missing. Could you try tracing that?
(Although Hebrew was not working with your 20050922 iso either.)

when i copied Culmus fonts inside the .tgz (inside /usr/share/fonts/Type1/gsfonts) some weeks ago i forgot to update the fonts.dir and fonts.scale files. I've hand-updated those files right now but i couldn't make hebrew culmus fonts work anyway :(
tomorrow i'll try again..

when are we going to have official font udebs(s) ? i also saw zh_TW
truetype font is really big (~12megs), can we do something about it
(drop it, make it smaller, ... )?

No idea, but we are now in a position we can ask for help on that.

ok, anyway i think a lot of Type1 fonts inside the fonts tarball are not really needed, i'll sweep them as soon as possible.

we should soon be able to drop d-i_gtk_root.tgz as soon as contained
config files are placed in proper udebs

I have integrated the root tarball into the rootskel-gtk udeb. So the root tarball is history now. We can decide later if we want to have the config files moved somewhere else.

ok

I've also fixed the other issues you pointed out.

now gtk-images are built correctly after checkin out from scratch from SVN

ciao
