Hi, thank you very much for the fast reply.I'm using a "vmlinuz-chrp.initrd" by Sven Luther on my Pegasos2 system for installing debian and also tried a netinstall iso image with the same result. The base system installs as usual but hangs on the package selection. I did another try to install using my normal preferences and attached the messages logfile. After fetching the package lists and checking dependencies a text window opens and tells me that it has failed and tells me to try again another time but don't tell me any special reason.
the selected language matters for openoffice and other applications, thats why i mentioned it.
friendly, Dirk

And which version are talking about?
when selecting "workstation" during netinstall the installer stops because ofdependencies which cannot be solved.
Which dependencies can't be solved? Please provide more context.
this happen for stable and testing. language doesnt matter, i tried german and englisch).
Okay, thanks for checking and telling. For your information: package dependency is independent from language.

You wrote the bug report from the computer where "workstation" fails? Could you please E-mail the file /var/log/debian-installer/messages to this bugreport? Cheers Geert Stappers
