I should also have mentioned the fact that when things were working,
I was using a sarge environment; now compilation and debugging are
run on a sid chroot. I could try and reproduce the environment I had
before, but i think it's worth trying to get things going on a sid
environment which seems to be the best place for d-i developement.
As a reminder: the problem seems to be setting breakpoints on the code of
shared object. "normal" breakpoints seem to work.
