Comments/Problems:

during "expert" installation, I select

Language: English
Country: Europe, Italy
Keyboard: USB (but with Italian layout)

The keyboard layout during the password-setting is strange
(it is latin but not Italian)
It is very dangerous because root password are NOT
visible!
During X-config I can select another Keyboard Layout (for
X)
and after reboot it alert me that:
The X system keyboard settings differ from your current
Gnome keyboard settings.

The fact that you selected English as language means that package
localization-config was not run. This package normally makes sure that
the keyboard configuration is also "copied" to the configuration for X11
and, IIRC, both Gnome and KDE.

So, if you had installed in Italian, there would have been no problem.
The reason localization-config is not run for English is because it would
cause problems for some architectures. We plan to fix this in a future
release.

As the installation was otherwise successful, I'm closing the installation
report. Thank you for submitting it.

Cheers,
FJP
