Installation problem with Debian Sarge 3.1

Hello.
I have a problem with installation of Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 Sarge.
The english is not my nativ languge, so please be indulgent with any mistakes i made.
The problem is very difficult to describe, because the installation stops without any information what could possibly go wrong,or on what point the installator have problem. So I try to describe the moment when installation stops. Ok. I put the first cd disc into cd-rom, and I have
"welcome to..." screen with the boot prompt below it. I press enter, and the installation begins. The choose language appears. I'm choosing the Polish language (becouse it's my nativ language), but I have tryed the others too. So I have the "detecting hardware" termometr and next "loading kernel modules" termometr. They go very quick. And thats it. When the termometr finishes the installation stops. So I see clean blue screen, with a small black square (i guess the installation progress meter) on the gray line at the bottom of the screen. The computer looks like it hanged, but the cd-rom led is on, and the device is still working (i hear it changes the speed). I have waited about 10 minutes, and nothing. So I decided to look at the help screen (F1), to look for help and write to the specialists.
I think the problem is clear now.
Now I describe the details of my hardware and software.

Software:
Debian GNU Linux 3.1 Sarge on 12 cd's (the images cd's from internet | 2003-12-02). I haven't dowloaded them, so I can't tell from which site they are. But I can tell, the cd's are 100% error free, becouse friend of mine have installed Linux from it many times.

Hardware:
Processor: Pentium II Celeron Processor 366.
RAM: 64 MB
GFX Device: Velocity Riva TNT 4400 16 Mg RAM TV Out
Mouse and Keyboard on PS/2
Motherboard: Epox ZXA (with agp, and usb 1.0)
Monitor: Sony Trinitrion 17
Cd-rom: LG 24x
Hdd disk: 6GB Caviar, with partitions (primary ext3 linux 3GB, and swap file linux 1 gb)

The bios is correctly configured , but I have tryed the defaults loaded too. No difference noticed.

I think it's all I can tell you. I hope those informations will help solve my problem. I already thank you for answering this e-mail and helping me.

David from Poland.
