first boot hang problem netinst rc3

Hello all,

 I'm trying to install Sarge in a Packard Bell laptop which had until recently 
a badly installed but working knoppix system (i mean that i've seen Linux 
running on it).
I've downloaded netinst-rc3 that has worked ok, but at first reboot, the 
system hangs with the message:

 PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 01:03.1.
 PCI: No IRQ known for interrupt pin A of device 01:03.0.

I've tried with noapic nolapic boot options with no success and pci=biosirq 
also in the boot command line, i'm guessing if i have to put this modifier in 
some load module command instead of boot parameter.
What else can i try? Do i need to give more info on the system or the booting 
messages?
