The tulip_cb module is part of the nic-pcmcia-modules udeb. This udeb is
available on the network drivers floppy as well as on the netinst CD and
should be loaded if availale, so I don't know why you're not finding the
tulip_cb to be available.

I assume this means you're mixing up rc2 and pre-rc3 stuff somehow,
since the kernel ABI has changed in between.
