It seems the probles is casued by the fact, that discover is set to handle cdrom mount points. It appears this was changed during the upgrade of the discover1 package. On a fresh install discover is set to NOT handle cdrom, and the bug does not appear then. Summary : discover changes its setting to handle cdroms, when it is updated.
