Attempting to install Debian on a Alpha DS10.

Problems with initial detect of DAC960 controller

Initial boot with boot dqa0 -flags 0 leads to a,

If I remove the controller, the install proceeds OK.

It looks like you are trying to install Debian Woody (3.0) on your system.
This is a version of the installation system that is not longer supported 
by the debian-installer team as we are very close to the release of Sarge 
(3.1).

If you would like support for a Woody installation, I suggest you try the 
debian-alpha maillist.

If you would like to give the new installation system a try, go to [1].

I am closing this report as installation reports are only meant to be used 
for the new debian-installer.
