Package: netcfg
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i sarge

Hello,

This bugreport is for me and probably other "auto installers" release
critical, some will say it has wishlist severity, so it became 'normal'.

netcfg insists on confirming the hostname and domain name,
that blocks doing automated installations, as one still has to press
'return' for the sane defaults.

Please make it possible to surpress these questions.

Hello,

As the subject line says, appending

 netcfg/get_hostname=x netcfg/get_domain=x

makes it possible to skip these question during automated install with
d-i.

Closing the bugreport (that I opened)
