Bug#230977: marked as done ([i386] [20040202] [businesscard] error installing lilo)

and subject line closing reports due to lack of response from submitter
has caused the attached Bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

Method: I booted off the netinst CD.  I typed "net" at the lilo prompt.  I 
installed from grc.nasa.gov domain through a firewall.

Machine:  Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard. (Nforce 2 chipset)
Processor: AMD Athlon (Barton Core) XP 2600+
Memory: 512 MB
Root Device: IDE
Root Size/partition table:
         29 GB ext3 mounted to /
         1GB     swap
Output of lspci: none

Base System Installation Checklist:

Initial boot worked:    [O]
Configure network HW:   [O]
Config network:         [O]
Detect CD:              [O]
Load installer modules: [O]
Detect hard drives:     [O]
Partition hard drives:  [O]
Create file systems:    [O]

Comments/Problems:

Everything works fine downloading the installer components.  Then I get the 
error:
"Base system installation error"
debootstrap program exited with an error (return value 127)

Virtual Console 3 says:
Errors were encountered while processing:
  lilo
/usr/sbin/debootstrap: 1: sleep: not found
