could you also please post the output of /proc/cpuinfo ?!

quik seems to be - to say the least - not the best tool for this box. quoting

which model (rev) do you own ? i guess it should be possible to detect the mac 
model (see www.applehistory.com) based on the output of 'cat /proc/cpuinfo' 
and 'lspci' - so i'm trying to gather some data.

if i understand quirks.php correctly you have to patch your open firmware with 
a mac system disk first - that's impossible for the debian-installer but 
should be described in the manual.
