Package: debian-installer
Severity: important

I'm trying to use netboot images for PXE-booting the Debian installer on
i386 hardware.

The netboot-images don't include any useful kernel modules for using
e.g. hard disks -- I have to manually download kernel module udebs from
my debian-mirror and install them manually to make the installer aware
of them.

I think that the netboot-images should be able to download hardware
drivers from the net automatically.

We're in the middle of a kernel upgrade. if you want to do netboot
installs using the d-i daily builds, you need to boot in expert mode and
tell it to install unstable, so it can find the new kernel udebs that
are only in unstable.
