Comments/Problems:

All in all in worked very well. It even detecked that integraded network card
(of which I thought it would need a kernel patch to get it working).

I tried the automatic partitioning, with a seperate /home partition, worked
good, however sometimes I need quite some memory, so the ~500M swap partition
was to small. When I tried to make one partition smaller, I got a little bit
confused, that the installer created the the filesystems at once, at not after
I finished with my enlarged swap partition.

Well, and since I was in this menu, I tried xfs filesystems. I got the warning
that grub might get confused, since I later wanted to install lilo, I ignored
that warning. When the installer tried to install grub, it took quite some
time... after I didn't saw any activitie for 10 minutes and the progess bar
didn't advanced a single pixl, I rebootedand used used ext3 which worked
without any problems.

Keep up the good work,
  Alexander

Hi,

first and foremost: thank you for your bug report.

I'm currently processing old installation reports, and since you
had some comments about the debian installer back in April, I thought I
wanted to state that - as you may already know - so much has changed
and improved since April (including the interface and functionality of=20
the partitioner) so I will close this report, since you in general had=20
a successful installation.

Also, it would certainly be very much appreciated, if you could find
time to download and test the latest[1] cd image and comment on any new
problems with the installer you might come across.

Thank you very much for your time.
