Precisely.  This was to be a db server, so I had to rearrange things
a bit to get the necessary /var size.  Making this more hands-off would
be much appreciated.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Note that the install log is
from the _second_ run, after the IDE disk was removed, to circumvent
grub being installed to the IDE disk instead of the SCSI disk which was
actually the boot disk.
