Comments/Problems:

-When repartionning, I wanted to change the size of the existing windows
partition. I got a warning message regarding writing changes although I
didn't make any changes. Worse, it wasn't clear if the resize will throw
everything away or keep data. Fortunately it keeped all the data, but I
think a message could inform the user about this point.
-If "assisted partitionning" is used after some manual configuration,
all this configuration seems lost : I had specificied a mount point for
the windows partition and it went lost when I used the "assisted
partitionning".
-Grub didn't detect the windows installation
-For the packages selection I choosed the first item (I don't remember
the name), and I noticed it downloaded mozilla and openoffice packages
for all languages. May be a selection of wanted languages could be added
to avoid to download rarely used languages
-XFree installation gave me a wrong keyboard (us instead of the french I
had specified at the beginning of debian install), and didn't generate
modes for 1024x768 resolutions.
-Kde default font was "Charter" which didn't have any special french chars
so I had to change it to "Bitstream Charter"

I didn't test the Wifi card nor the ACPI things.
