Bug#244475: language-chooser: 'English (other countries)' results in broken locales configuration
One further problem this bug causes is when I try to 'dpkg-reconfigure
locales' after installation.
Because I selected 'English (other countries)' during 1st stage, there is also
an option 'en ISO-8859-1' in the list (current value from /etc/locale.gen).
After I _added_ some more locales and confirmed, I got the following error:
Locales: en
Generating locales
en.ISO-8859-1 cannot open locale definition file `en': No such file or
directory
After I deselected 'en ISO-8859-1' in the list, the locales where generated
OK.
This problem is still present in Beta 4 and probably also affects other
'<language> (other countries)' options.
