Bug#244367: PowerPC install from boot floppy mostly successful - still some problems.

Matt,

I retrieved the latest daily build OldWorld powerpc floppy images from:

http://people.debian.org/~luther/debian-installer/daily-powerpc-built/current/powerpc-small/floppy/
and wrote them to physical floppy disks.

Then on my PowerMac G3 beige minitower oldworld test machine, I booted
the boot floppy, and loaded the root floppy to ramdisk.

Then I switched to virtual console 2 and typed

	eject -f fd0

What I got back was "eject: command not found"

I tried loading the net-drivers floppy and the cd-drivers floppy, to no
avail. I still got "command not found".

Should I have used a different source of floppy images?

Sven has been wondering where he should put the eject udeb. Maybe he
hasn't decided yet, and that's why it's missing?

Here's what he has to say... And padron my ignorance, but who is
"Frank"?

Enjoy!

Rick

Nice idea, i didn't think about it. Can you work with Frank, the eject
maintainer, so that the eject .udeb is fixed to be able to eject more
than just the CD ? I will not have time for this these next 2-3 weeks,
so could you please follow up on this with him, in order to have it in
beta4 next week ?

Friendly,

Sven Luther
