Package: debian-installer
Version: N/A; reported 2003-10-23
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Got the netinst image (Oct 8) at http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/netinst/i386/

Problems:

1. It did NOT detect the ethernet: Intel 82562EZ Lan PHY supports 10/100

2. It did NOT detect the Storage 2xSerial ATA hardrives

I also tried the Oct 22 daily build and this locks up the machine when ide-detect installer
modules gets loaded (just after booting the cdrom by hitting <RETURN>.
