Package: installation-reports

Debian-installer-version: 02/18/2004
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/i386/current/
uname -a: Linux (none) 2.4.24-1-386 #3 Wed Feb 4 18:58:18 EST 2004 i686
unknown
Date: 02/19/2004
Method: linux expert - sarge (testing) netinstall CD

Machine: iPentium II
Processor: iPentium II 300
Memory: 96

Comments/Problems:
The installer can not find the nic driver (e100.o)
The driver is missing.
After a sort investigation I found there is NET directory in
/lib/modules/2.4.24-1-386/kernel/drivers/ at all.
Just the NET directory and some others missing not all.

I checked with other machine with different nic ect. The same problem.

Earlier sarge netinstall CD was working good. Of course there are the
directories during installation.

I think this is either fixed in beta 3 of the installer, or was user
error.
