Bug#205519: installation: Wrong error message when disk is full

Package: installation
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-08-15
Severity: important

When a partition is too small to install everything on, and packages are
unpacked to the harddisk, the install menu will fail with an error message:
"package corrupt" or similar. After checking debug messages on console 3 (I
think) it becomes clear that the disk is full.

Thus the error messages the user receives is misleading. Install should not
assume that a package is corrupt because unpacking fails. I'm not sure how
the internals work in this case, but I'm sure somebody knows :)
