Yeah, don't I know it.  Though it's not actually mine, I just have to
get it going.  The trick will be getting the e1000 module going for
2.2.20, which evidently means I'll need to downgrade my gcc, etc,
etc.... *sigh*

Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone knew why it was freezing like
that and save myself a bit of work.  I'm just hoping it's a
boot-floppies issue and not a kernel issue, so I can install 2.4 on it
once it's up.  The standard boot floppies work fine, save for the lack
of a nic module.
