I cannot reproduce this bug - it is correct that /etc/resolv.conf
is a symlink to /target/etc/resolv.conf, but the target file exists
and has sensible content on my test system after the network
configuration step. I have tested both manual network configuration
and using dhcp.

Which version of boot-floppies have you used for your test? With
boot-floppies 3.0.23 (current version) everything works as expected
for me.
