Assuming you are using the ext2 file system, use the `-b' option with
mke2fs.  Block size options are 1024, 2048 and 4096 bytes.  A typical
ext2 file system defaults to 1K blocks.  Do a `man mke2fs' to see
other options.  You may wish to adjust the ionode count as well.

WARNING.  All data will be lost on the partition you re-format.
