 I saw also your mail with the `dmesg' output.

 Have you changed any BIOS setting wrt the drives since having a
 system working with Mandrake?

 Which kernel flavor did you choose to install?

 Will someone with more kernel/driver/hardware knowledge please field
 this bug report?
