The compact boot-floppies, which include support the DAC960 RAID
controller use version 2.2.5 of the driver with kernel 2.2.15. Zubkoff
announced the release of 2.2.6 on May 31. When I tried to boot my machine
with a AcceleRAID 250 in it using the 2.2.13 compact rescue disc it hung
while trying to initialize the DAC960. So I recompiled the kernel image
after updating to version 2.2.6 of the driver and it boots without any
problems now.
