samosa. No proxy. Once I noticed (in iptraf) it had sent a RESET (which is
kinda wierd).

8Mb

Nope, the machine still works, there is free RAM (no swap enabled -- no swap
needed for 8Mb at this point), and no message in the kernel "window" (vt4)
about VM killing anything.

Besides, if it got to 33% without running out of RAM, there is no reason for
running out of it. I at first had my doubts about submitting this bug, but I
think it might be useful even being probably only in my box.

I gave up and used one floppy to transfer it.
