Package: base
Version: N/A; reported 2000-04-20
Severity: normal

base.tgz currently contains an empty /etc/console-tools/default.kmap
(gzipped). I understand that dbootstrap takes care of replacing it,
but this causes problems when base.tgz is used without dbootstrap
(eg. to setup a diskless machine) - it appears that the default keymap
has already been chosen to match the kernel builtin keymap, whereas no
file means that no choice has been done.
