Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.1 slink
architecture: m68k
model: mac Quadra 610/800
memory: 20M
cd-rom: Panasonic SCSI
network: built-in ethernet

I've installed the base system on both models but I can't get the
ethernet to work. I can ping the machine itself but it doesn't recognize
the network or anything beyond itself.

I'm assuming this is why it won't install any packages beyond the base
system. I tried to install server-std and I get kernel panic: virtual
address errors or it just hangs.

Any Ideas?

We believe that the bug you reported has been closed in the Potato
version of the boot-floppies. We may not have received a response
from you so we are closing this bug.

Please let us know if you find that the bug still exists in the potato
version of the boot-floppies, and we can re-open your bug.

Note that there are some temporary but serious problems with those
floppies you should know about on i386:

 - installation of base from floppy probably not working
 - the compact flavor may not work
