                                Hello,
I don't know whether there is a package for this--in the Install
Manual for Intel x86 (as of today), section 5.5 Installing from NFS,
it is stated that

``Due to the nature of this method, only the base system can be
    installed via NFS.''

which is not correct (I've installed Hamm on my notebook via a PLIP
connection, so I did not have to buy a CD-ROM drive). I guess you are
aware of the description

  http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue43/bennet.html
``PLIP: Laplink Cable Install of Debian 2.1''

I hope this will reach the right people, please let me know if there
is a better way to report bugs like this one.

We believe that the bug you reported has been closed in the Potato
version of the boot-floppies. We may not have received a response
from you so we are closing this bug.

Please let us know if you find that the bug still exists in the potato
version of the boot-floppies, and we can re-open your bug.

Note that there are some temporary but serious problems with those
floppies you should know about on i386:

 - installation of base from floppy probably not working
 - the compact flavor may not work
