what version of boot floppies was this? the "not an ELF file" results from
having a pcmcia .unconfigured file around. this has been removed afaik.
unresolve symbols are probably from mismatched kernel/modules/pcmcia
modules. This may happen with some of the prebuilds, but i believe all the
ones in the archive are ok.
