update,

if i start boot-floppies 2.2.8 and try to make a boot disk right away, i
can do it!  however...

if i run the entire installation program (partition, initialize, install
kernel, modules, and base system, etc.) i can't make a boot floppy.

go figure

so rudy, when you checked to see if boot-floppies could make a boot disk
did you go through the entire installation procedure, or just check if
boot-floppies could make a boot floppy.
