verbose install crashing
I've tried a couple of verbose installs from harddisk using the
compact flavour with the new ext2 features enabled, they each do
the same thing after rebooting for the second stage of the installation:
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
"ps aux" shows:
perl -w /usr/sbin
sh -c stty -a </d
stty -a
trying to run on tty1 (ordered from low to high process ID).
I didn't notice anything unusual in the boot messages.
What should I do to help track this down?
later,
Bruce
